8k33 In The Beginning There Was Rhythm

A solid simple backbeat is a beautiful thing, the backbone of many a classic tune.. this show however sees us siftin’ in skew-whiff fashion through some tunes with slightly more complex drum work – big beats, percussion, tom-toms… A reprise of sorts for a show I did in yesteryear at a radio station far far away… some very serious rhythm work here as well as some pure beat-filled fun from the likes of 23 Skidoo, PIL, Fleetwood Mac, Adam and the Ants, Buzzcocks, Cabaret Voltaire, Bow Wow Wow, Joy Division, Iggy Pop, ACR and more….
